We show you how to make this hand-crafted fieldstone like that pictured, with our molds and free Instructions.
Make real-looking stone like that pictured: freestanding walls, pavers, or stone veneer with these molds!
We’ve made two pallets of our “castle stone” with three bags of Portland cement, (about $7.50 per bag), that equals just over 112 square feet of lightweight stone. You will get similar results with our “Olde Appalachian Fieldstone” molds.
You can make custom-colored, heavy, medium, or light-weight stone with them. Make thick stepping stones, walls, or thinner stone for flooring or veneer depending on the thickness you pour them. These molds are between 1-1/2″ to 2-1/2″ thick. Molds are separated for you before shipping.
You are purchasing ten (10) molds that make a natural 7+/- sq. ft. pattern. Add our other five OAF sheets, to get an even better “mix” of stones for larger areas like in some of the photos illustrated.
We also make many other sizes of Olde Appalachian Fieldstone molds that are approximately 1-1/2″ to 2-1/2″ thick and will blend with these perfectly for walls, walks, etc.
These molds are made with .060, high-impact, industrial abs for flexibility and long life, and can be used hundreds of times if cared for properly.
We provide you with instructions in the various techniques to achieve a custom colored tile or stone. But other than formulas for the basic colors in our brochure, you will have to experiment. We cannot give you the formula for a color that is “in your head.” Color is somewhat “subjective.” What you might refer to as a “pink” color, might be our perception of a “rose” color. Our “powder blue,” might be your “light blue,” etc. For that reason, we can only give you some “base” color formulas. You will have to work on any changes from that formula to get exactly what you want as a finished color, as seen in your mind’s eye.
